Hello everyone and welcome to my electronic portfolio!  My name is Brittany Gehring and I am currently attending Baldwin Wallace to obtain my Master's degree in Literacy Education.  This is my final course in this journey!  I attended the University of Dayton for my Undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education.  I also have a Pre-K Special Needs and Reading Endorsement.

I began my teaching career in Columbus, Ohio as a Kindergarten teacher for Columbus City Schools.  After three years, I moved to Cleveland and I am currently teaching 2nd grade in Shaker Heights.  I have enjoyed growing professionally through my experiences in Shaker Heights as well as my courses at BW.
